SIMPLE SEPTEMBER IS HERE!!

SIMPLE SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE

This is the time of year where we get burnt  out fast from all the projects and travels of the year so far! Do not get discouraged! I have a challenge that I want to do with you! 

-The topic and goal is simple-

SIMPLE, keep this month simple.

SOUL SEARCHING, let's fall in love with ourselves again once and for all!

SAVE, since we aren't going out as much, do what more fires you up and makes you happy. That doesn't always have to do with spending money.

SEED, let's plant the seed of happiness in our lives with doing old hobbies that we left behind, or even starting new ones!

SELF, that is the name of the game!

SHIFT, this is the shift from summer to fall, let's get prepared for it!

Honestly I could go on and on with S words till I go through the whole dictionary, but I will save us time by NOT doing that. In the end it is a month of love for yourself. An extrovert may have a little tougher time with this than and introvert, being an ambiavert myself I know this will get tricky when people will want to hang out all the time! Of course you can totally do you what you want! Don't limit yourself that you go crazy of course, this is just a mindful exercise to do the month of September to come back to self love and staying simple. Not everything has to be complicated! 

Here are the guidelines I will be following for myself, if you want to join feel free to do them all as well or pick a few to do! Email me with your Simple September Goals!

  1. Delete social media from your phone. You can still get on your computer or tablet to look at the media if you really want to. But the point is to go on it less. So at the very least, just delete the app from your phone. 

  2. PLAN for this! Plan your posts to auto post so that you don't lose all your hard insta work while you are taking care of yourself. Once again, you can still get on social from a different device other than your phone. 

  3. Make a list of things you can do in your free time. What books do you want to read? What art do you want to try?

  4. Make a list of what you love doing (other than work) or what you used to like doing? How can you bring that into your life again this month?

  5. Clear your schedule, as much as you can at least apart from work. Do as little social life as possible. Personally this is the PERFECT time to go camping:)

  6. Try to cook 1 new meal 

  7. Explore 1 new place in your city or area. 

  8. Try to meditate daily! There are plenty of guided meditations on youtube! Just pick one:)

  9. When falling asleep, think about everything you are grateful for. 

  10. Last but not least, love yourself. It has been a rough and interesting year so far, don't beat yourself up over it. See the lesson to be learned, apply it to your life, and move on. I believe in you! No one is perfect at this by all means, but it is the effort that counts!
